.Cold Harbor Nights.

Saturday, January 26, 2013

It's cold here.  Quite cold.

Generally, our wool Tartan blankets call to us from couches.  We sit in front of big windows.  We glance up from books/screens for a view of snow before adjusting slightly and settling back in.

But some nights...some nights you just need to get out.  Luckily this little harbor town has a great wealth of eateries.  Shubie's is our go-to when we want a full hot, but easy/family friendly, meal.  And bakery cases make everyone happy.

Bundled, bellies full, we head back home up winding harbor streets.  Cheeks rosy, toes tingling we settle on the couch, look up for a view of our little harbor town out of large windows and wrap ourselves in warm Tartan wool.  We sigh a more comforted sigh.

Home again.

Looks like a lovely night out, I love going out for dinner on a whim. It's so exciting, a bit like that book the tiger who came to tea
