We recently spent an afternoon at the Lyman Estate Greenhouses in Waltham, Ma. They are among the oldest greenhouses in the United States and by far the most beautiful I have ever seen! The filtered light on the floor, the enormous variety of plants, the antique details of these structures make you feel like you stepped into a verdant romantic world. Addy loved running down the long corridors of plants and splashing the little fountain. It's hard to walk out and leave that beautiful space behind.
